The treatment of flu is not as hard as it would seem. The knowledge that claims that flu is so hard to treat is largely due to the bird flu virus that spread across Asia and affected the world. What is important to be clarified is that the flu virus has varying strains. As a virus it has the ability to mutate depending on its host. But for more common cases of flu, treatment is actually as easy as taking a rest and drinking lots of water. Given the transforming capacity of a flu, doctors advise that one should not treat that with antibiotics. The reason being is the inherent quality of antibiotics to %u2018mask%u2019 the illness and allow the virus to develop a resistance to further treatment. Flu treatment should involve bed rest and taking a huge amount of fluids as the fever accompanying a flu dehydrates the body.

For a more serious case of flu, it is advised to take available flu medication which one may always get from  a local drugstore. But for more convenience, one can easily get that medication online. It is actually now possible to purchase flu treatment from an online clinic which can also prescribe medications. That development makes flu pandemics easily curable and conveniently too.  Whether you are living alone or with someone, purchasing medication for a flu virus is now so easy to do thanks to the presence of online clinics which address the problem with aplomb.

An influenza pandemic affects world wide population. Regular epidemics occur in season unlike pandemics that occur in an irregular pattern. Pandemics lead to high mortality levels because a new strain of influenza virus pop out and is transmitted from animal to humans. Theses animals include chicken, pigs and ducks. Influenza A, B and C are the three types of influenza virus. Influenza A virus is transmitted from wild birds to other animals affecting domestic poultry and these domestic animals can transfer the virus to human population leading to human influenza pandemics as said in flu pandemics.
Influenza symptoms usually occurs in 5 days then fatigue is felt for few weeks. High grade fever of 40c is the main symptom. Common symptoms include muscle aches, headache, dry cough, sore throat, runny nose, joint pain and fatigue.
There are certain preventive measures presented and done by government. One is having the poultry workers be vaccinated against common flu. This activity decreases the possibility of combining the common influenza virus and avian H5N1 virus. Forming a new pandemic strain. Another is travel limitations where the virus is identified. Presence of long term strategies is also noted which includes decreasing contact of wild birds to domestic animals and altering local practices in the farm to upgrade form hygiene. This is done by changing the unsanitary quarters of animals and altering practices of open air wet markets where birds are being secured for live sale and are slaughtered in the markets.
Common influenza must not be worried about because the immune system of a human body can fight the virus efficiently. Usually, people having influenza combat the virus by having lots of rest just being on bed, increasing immune system by taking in vitamins and drinking fluids to  prevent dehydration from sweating when feverish.
Paracetamol is bought to decrease the fever. Do not buy antibiotics because influenza is caused by virus so buying antibiotics will just waste your money. Vaccination against seasonal flu is important to those people having decreased immune system. These people are the elderly, those with kidney disease, heart problems and asthma.
If your fever and other symptoms exceed for a week, it is best to contact your doctor. Online consultation is available at flu treatment.
Influenza virus is easily transmitted so it is necessary to maintain transmission precaution at all times. Good hygiene practices is a must. Frequent hand washing and disinfecting surfaces are proven to be effective to limit the transmission of the virus because the virus can easily be eradicated by soap and water.
Since virus are self limiting, relieving symptoms are done rather than curing the disease. Tamiflu or Relenza is used to treat an infection after 48 hours of the onset of symptoms. These are anti-viral medications.

My officemate who is also my best buddy at work reported for work sick. He forced himself to go to work because he had to finish a very important assignment. Two days ago, he was coughing and eventually had colds. It told him to go the company clinic and take some medicines. During those three days that he was sick, I found him staying late in the office. I asked him if he was all right. He said that everything was fine. That third day, it was really different. He looked pale and I knew that his condition got worse. I advised him to go to the clinic. He said that he was still fine. Before lunch, I saw him with his head leaning on the desk. I felt that there was something wrong. I touched him. His body temperature was high. He was hot. I woke him up but he never answered. I called the company doctor and we rushed him to a hospital. I accompanied him. In the car, our doctor said that he had a flu treatment. As we reached the hospital, the doctors checked him. He was asked to take medicines for the flu pandemics. He was given a dextrose because he was really weak. The doctors knew that he did not have enough rest. He should have rested when he felt sick. After learning that my buddy would be all right, I went back to the office. As I continued working, I realized that we are no longer getting any younger.

The flu is an infection of the nose, throat, and lungs caused by the influenza virus.

The number of people who have died as a result of the swine flu virus in the UK has now reached fifty. Although the outbreak is no longer considered a pandemic it is still causing many fatalities and reeking havoc in the NHS.
Last week many GPs announced that they had run out of flu vaccine and had been told that the supplies were not available to meet their demands. This meant that even people considered in %u2018high risk%u2019 categories could not be given the vaccine which covered all three strains of the current flu outbreak, only one of which is the swine flu variant. The H1N1 strain is, however, the one that is causing the vast majority of hospital admissions and fatalities and for this reason the NHShas now resorted to vaccinating high-risk groups with a vaccine which was created during the pandemic butwhich only covers the swine flu virus.
Many people are asking how we could be in a situation where the flu vaccine has run out. We had been told that the H1N1 strain would return and yet as a country we were still unprepared and people are dying as a result.

My brother called me up and told me that he is recovering from flu treatment. It was natural for him telling the information to me but I was actually shocked upon finding out that he had flu pandemics. I asked what exactly happened to him. He said that for a week he had colds. He took it lightly because for him it was only ordinary. A week later he had cough. Then, he had high fever which prompted his wife to bring him to the hospital. He almost passed out before reaching the hospital. After treating him in the emergency room, he stabilized but he was so dizzy. The following day, his wife told him that he had a flu. He was chilling when she rushed her to the hospital. His wife told him that she was so scared that she might lose him. A few minutes later, the doctor talked to him and asked about his condition. My brother felt so week. It seemed that he lost a lot of energy. The doctor confirmed that he lost a lot of energy and he needed to recover. He needed to take a rest and eat nutritious food to regain his strength. After a week in the hospital, he went home. He was sharing with his wife his close encounter with death. He told her that he would not take such illnesses lightly. It was his unforgettable experience with a sickness. He has been healthy all his life. Now that he is getting a little older, he realized that he needs to give premium to his health.

Flu can be fatal if taken lightly. Some of those with high fever eventually died because they were not treated properly. How do we protect ourselves from flu treatment? If we sense that we are already sick, we have to see a doctor or ask for the appropriate medicine. There are people who take for granted their cough or cold. They did not know that these are symptoms of flu pandemics. It may even lead to pneumonia which has already claimed many lives in the past. Some experienced sore throat as the beginning of their fever or worse flu. Those who easily get sick are people who are not healthy. They are those whose resistance to sickness is low. I remember a classmate who was chilling in our class. He was already sick but he did not inform his parents about it. We brought him immediately to the clinic. After finding out that he has high fever, he was rushed to the hospital. If he did not speak, he could have been dead that day. It is for this reason that I remember my parents telling me to take care of my health. When we are tired, our body is more prone to sickness. One can easily contact a sickness like cough or colds. If this is not treated properly, it can get worse. But the best way to do to protect ourselves is to exercise and eat the right food. We can also take vitamins to make us stronger and capable of resisting illnesses.

When I was still young I remember being sickly and weak. I almost regularly skip class day because I easily get infected with flu. The doctor said that my immune system is relatively weak and so I really need the supplement of vitamins. Because of one incident my mom learned a good lesson in terms of proper flu treatment. In the old days, traditional methods by the barrio healer are the first option of the villagers. The use of some herbal medicines, oil and short prayers are enough to heal any form of sickness. But not in my case during that time, my fever raised to as high as 40 degrees that they needed to rush me to the nearest government hospital. What we do not know that time was I was already suffering from a case of H-fever. It's a good thing that I was brought to the hospital on time for if not it would have caused my life. Nowadays the threat of flu pandemics became greater because of more deadly strains that developed over the years.  We should be more knowledgeable now on the proper treatment of recent sickness such as dengue fever, malaria and H1N1. We cannot afford to remain traditional especially if it would be a matter of life and death. My mom learned her lesson in an incident that almost took my life. Today, we should learn from the rising rate of death due to influenza and other form of common sickness that results to more serious complications.

In the year 1997 scientist have discovered a different strain of flu virus in the intestines of bird, thus the strain was named bird flu or also known as Avian flu. We were all surprise by this new flu virus and threatened by possibility of bird to man infection. Fortunately, rate of infection was low and government agencies were able to manage the whole situation. But I remember some mass slaughter of poultry animals that were reportedly infected by the same virus. To avoid further spread of the virus birds and poultry chicken were contained and people were restricted from visiting bird sanctuaries. Having direct contact with birds was also prohibited during that time. It is also a good thing that doctors and scientist were quick in coming up with medications that can combat the strain. Normally flu virus does not need any especial treatment. As doctors say, virus dies down after a period of time. But depending on certain conditions and factors, flu treatments vary. If certain respiratory infection develops because of flu, only then that doctors would recommend taking special antibiotics. The standard things to consider fro treatment would be having enough rest, taking lots of water to avoid dehydration and to take foods rich in vitamins and minerals in order to strengthen more our immune system. It is also important to isolate the patient to avoid the transfer of virus. In three to four days, the patient should already manifest improvement in his or her condition. If it persists there is a possibility that the illness is not just caused by the flu virus.
